Hydrous kaolin
Washed china clay with high brightness (SS grades up to L-97) is preferred for ceramics and tiles where firing colour and plasticity matter.
Calcined / micronized kaolin
Calcined grades (including 300/400 mesh powders) improve opacity, gloss, and rheology in coatings, and deliver thermal stability in refractory mixes.
